ABOUT JUTE RUG AND CARE Shedding of loose fibres is normal for any natural fibre rug and will diminish with regular light vacuuming. Vacuum regularly on a low setting without the beater brush, as it may damage the fibre. Rotate your rug once every 3 to 6 months to prevent uneven exposure to sun and other elements. Do not pull on any loose fibres, instead snip it out or tuck it back. Blot out any spills with a dry cloth or spot clean with a damp cloth using a mild cleaner. Do not use any harsh cleaning products as they may fade or damage the fibre. For hard to remove stains, professional cleaning is recommended. A Rug pad is recommended for longevity of the rug.
